It's been quite some time since the blog was last updated =) This round, I have managed to collaborate with another model, Lexy ~ Janet's sister. Together with the rest of the Pixers' members, we had an enjoyable session at the G-Hotel, Gurney. The session was fantastic as I've managed to learn more shooting features and captured some satisfactory shots. Lexy's talent in modeling was just breathtaking, making the photoshooting session even attracted passerby observing the session, and some even requested to get a shot of her. Notably, even an unknown photographer who is using D3X asked for a permission to get a few shots of her and pay a RM100 for just a few shots (of course Lexy did not accept) =). Personally, I've enjoyed this photoshooting session too, especially at the G-hotel lobby with its modern architecture. Here are some preview shots of Lexy.
Breathtaking... yesterday (17th Oct'09) was another milestone that I've took in my photography's learning curve. I've decided to take up this workshop to further explore the world of photography from a true professional, Louis Pang (he's the Asian current leading photographer in WPPI) and it did not waste my time to realize that there are so many aspects that we've got to take into consideration apart from what I've learnt or known so far. It's been a privilege for me to be one of his student and coincidently met up with a friend of mine as Louis' model (Lennard). Besides myself, I'm accompanied by my fellow Pixers (YN & Teong Keat). I think we've learnt to know more on our cameras, lighting, posture & gadgets. Good workshop to attend and met with some new photography friends!
It's been really a great pleasure to have my own intern, Lisa, to become one of the Pixers photoshoot model. Lisa was doing fine in her first-time photoshoot. She has a great facial complexion & shown a great composure during our photoshooting. Thx to her great effort in modeling which has allowed us to get a couple of fine shots on her at one of the SP Setia Showhouse last weekend. Looking forward to the next great outing with Lisa ;-)
First of all, would like to congrats BengHo & HooiLing on their ROM today (26th Sept'09) and really grateful to witness these memorable moments in years to come... We proceed to capture some shots nearby China Ghaut Street (around Malaysia Customs, Wisma Yeap Chor Ee, Georgetown Chambers & other nearby buildings)
This photoshoot was held during Raya - we have a quick shot session at Tanjung Tokong. The sunset period gave us a new horizon of different shots. Good outing & thx to Natalie's great modeling... feel free to provide inputs on the shot taken.
This is to commemorate the 1st anniversary of Teong Keat & Chia Wei's marriage :-) The Pixers are honoured to have this opportunity to share some of the shots to remember those moments...
The Pixers group has its first photoshoot outing and Natalie became our first model on 9th Sept'09. We had pick the Queensbay Fun Park as our based location where the theme is on Retro 70's. It was a fun outing with model even blowing bubble foams. Some shots shared below on Natalie. Thx to her professional talent that made this a successful event.
My passion is to always seize the opportunity to capture the best moment (shots) of a person or an event as remembrance. Have an aim to continue deepened knowledge on modern photography.
